So again I'm working on stuff that I can't show. However, this quilt that I finished yesterday, I absolutely adore it. So much so that I was able to talk the designer into letting me show some sneak peaks of the back (I didn't have to try *too* terribly hard). This is my favorite quilt that she has ever made and I can't wait to see what she does with photography for it! It's stinkin' pretty, y'all!
I'm glad I finished it during daylight because I finally found a place in the shop that has excellent light. I was so excited I didn't even wait to trim it to take pictures. In a few weeks we can reveal the front!
The next one I'm quilting is absolutely gorgeous and I CAN SHARE IT. In fact the lovely lady that sent it to me told me that I can "share the shit out of this quilt". I fully intend to do so! It's a doozy!
Have a happy Easter everyone!
******** edit. She came and picked this up today and brought two more that need to be done with the quickness so that stuff I said about getting to share the next one? Not so much. But soon!

Definitely a beauty! I'm most happy seeing the quilting lines, so I'll be fine waiting for the fabric. Finally I have patience (so proud). Anyway, I must tell you once again how amazing you are! Fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteIf the back is that pretty, I can't wait to see the front of that quilt. BTW, I saw the mag. with the quilt you quilted at my LQS this week.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that quilting! Can't wait to see the front :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd this is just the back of the quilt! You don’t even have to look closely to see the lines are beautiful and very detailed. I can't wait to see how the fabrics look when patched together. From your other photos, I can tell that your finished quilts are amazing. You are a natural with the needle and thread!
ReplyDeleteHave I told you lately how much I appreciate you? And blogger won't let me comment either!
